We're proud to share that our very own Dr. Donna Badner attended a BART training session at the Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA. BART (Basic Animal Rescue Training) is an organization dedicated to training first responders how to provide care to pets and livestock during an emergency.
This critical training helps save pets during emergencies and natural disasters across the state of Massachusetts. In order to provide the training, BART needed local veterinarians and technicians to get involved in the process.
Thanks to Dr. Badner and Allison, more local first responders will now be able to learn the techniques and approaches necessary to safely and effectively address the needs of animals in emergency situations. We are proud to call them integral parts of our team here at Associates Animal Hospital.
